In 1973, I began my business in painting, decorating and high quality building maintenance.

Following this, 1987 led me to studies with world-renowned decorative artist Leonard Pardon.

Through Mr. Pardon’s guidance, I learnt the art of imitating marble and wood grain as well as techniques in specialist paint finishes. Such techniques and skills have offered decorative opportunities in hotels, beautiful country houses and numerous grade I listed buildings including  The Royal Albert Hall.

Furthermore, my work has progressed to a more international level, working in the Middle East and, more recently, for a member of the Kuwaiti Royal family in London.

I produce my own glazes using the traditional Victorian technique. I am able to create and copy a variety of tailored fantasy effects to suit any requirement as well as match any desired colour scheme.

In terms of restoration, I reproduce and enhance existing antique wood graining or marbling effects.

Distressed or antique finishes are techniques which I can apply to existing kitchen, bathroom and bedroom furniture. My many years of experience in the building trade enable me to take on a project from start to finish.

I offer highly competitive prices and, although based in Hastings, I often work in London and elsewhere across the South of England.

The techniques and decorative effects outlined here can be viewed in my online portfolio and photo gallery.
